Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Manager – Social Media to join Rankistan digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, including A & O Levels and a degree from a reputable university, along with hands-on experience managing social media platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, and others. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing influencer marketing campaigns, and driving organic growth for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Assist in creating and implementing comprehensive social media strategies tailored to client goals, ensuring alignment with their brand identity.
- Content Creation: Plan, create, and curate engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos, etc.) for platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with influencers to execute impactful influencer marketing campaigns. Track and report on campaign performance.
- Organic Campaigns: Design and execute organic social media campaigns to boost brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
- Platform Management: Manage and optimize client accounts on Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms, ensuring consistent and high-quality content delivery.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms, fostering meaningful interactions with the audience.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.) and prepare detailed reports for clients. Use insights to refine strategies and improve results.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to keep clients ahead of the competition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design, content, and paid media teams to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and present campaign results.
Qualifications:
- Education: A & O Levels and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a digital marketing agency. Hands-on experience with Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, and other platforms is a must.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Creative Skills: Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills. Familiarity with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple client accounts.
- Passion for Social Media: A deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
