Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Amazon Expert to manage and grow our Amazon business through strong listing execution, advertising optimization, account health management, and data-led decision making. This role is responsible for improving sales, conversion, and profitability while maintaining Amazon compliance and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Catalog Management
- Manage product listings (new launches + ongoing optimization): titles, bullets, backend keywords, attributes, variations, and A+ Content
- Troubleshoot catalog issues: suppressed listings, stranded inventory, variation errors, category mismatches, and flat file fixes
- Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and maintain excellent account health metrics
Advertising (PPC) Management
- Plan, build, and optimize Sponsored Products/Brands/Display campaigns (as applicable)
- Execute keyword and ASIN targeting strategies (manual + auto), including harvest and negation routines
- Monitor ACOS/TACOS, CPC, CVR, and incrementality; optimize toward profitability and scale
Performance & Reporting
- Track core KPIs: sessions, conversion rate, organic rank, ad performance, buy box %, and contribution margin
- Create weekly/monthly performance updates with clear insights and action plans
- Identify growth opportunities using Search Query Performance, Brand Analytics (if available), and competitive research
Inventory & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with inventory/shipping teams to prevent stockouts and improve in-stock rate
- Monitor restock recommendations, IPI impacts, inbound shipment performance, and stranded inventory fixes
- Support deal planning (coupons, price tests, promotions) with data-backed recommendations
Reviews, Reputation & Customer Experience
- Monitor reviews/ratings trends and propose review improvement initiatives (e.g., Vine where relevant)
- Flag recurring customer issues and propose product/listing adjustments to improve satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Amazon private label brands.
- Proven hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Strong PPC experience with campaign structure, optimization, and reporting
- Strong understanding of Amazon SEO (indexing, relevance, conversion signals)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivots, lookups, dashboards); comfort with large datasets
- Excellent communication: ability to explain performance and decisions clearly to stakeholders
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Helium 10, Keepa, DataDive, Jungle Scout, or similar tools
- Experience with bulk files/flat files and resolving complex catalog issues
- Experience managing multiple brands/SKUs and scaling accounts beyond 100+ SKUs
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced use of formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, CONCAT, and pivot tables for Amazon sales, PPC, and inventory analysis.
