Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure all the received invoices are authorized for payment as per the COA and related supporting documents are correct as well as complete to ensure account accuracy and effective cash flow management.
  • Record all receivables entries and prepare required Dubai Land Department forms.
  • Reconcile and maintain all ledgers and sub ledgers and prepare the monthly required reports and updates
  • Obtain confirmation of receiving the services/materials in good condition before processing any invoice for payment.
  • Book all the creditors' invoices through the system after attaching relevant LPO, agreement/contract, and other supporting documents.
  • Perform suppliers' accounts reconciliation as and when assigned.
  • Ensure all the costs are allocated properly to the respective Cost Centers through the predetermined list of cost centers.
  • Ensure all the Accounts Payable / Receivable transactions are properly accounted for, by selecting the appropriate ledger accounts (Expense, Inter-company, Prepayment, Advance, Accrual, others).
  • Issuance of Intercompany Debit & Credit Notes on Monthly basis.
  • Booking of monthly Expenses (Emp. Visa & Shared Exp and HO Cost allocations) charged by AGI Corporate
  • Invoice Booking & Allocation of Utility bills (DEWA & Etisalat) and payment processing on timely manner.
  • Invoice Booking & Allocation of Legal Charges (Noqodi) for AGP & AGC
  • AGP Intercompany balance Reconciliation on monthly basis.
  • Disbursement of Petty cash for various departments (Legal/Operations/Marketing/Finance & Security) and surprise cash count also.
  • Update the financial Model as per instructed and assist with required audit tasks for the unit and the company.
  • Ensure timely process of all suppliers' invoices as well as other accounts payable transactions in order to meet payment due dates.
  • Ensure timely process of all receivables and buyers' invoices and collections on time and necessary bookings in the ERP and update the availability list whenever sales occur.
  • Efficiently communicate with suppliers and vendors in relation to their requests, issues, or requirements and take the necessary action accordingly.
  • Adhere to and follow the company's controls in all Accounts Payable / Receivables processes and procedures.
  • Analyze the advances account and identify issues as well as long outstanding transactions in order to take the appropriate actions.
  • Process payments as per company policies, procedures & internal controls to ensure effective financial management in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Review all main contractor / sub-contractor and various suppliers' invoices, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile banks, petty cash and update cashflows and treasury report for the CFO and report on timely manner any matters requires urgent attention and key comments to CFO.

Knowledge and Skill

  • UAE real estate development experience is a must
  • Dubai land Department / Rera and Bank escrow knowledge is a must
  • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Well versed with ERP systems (i.e. Dynamics,).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Monthly closing and preparing monthly management report

  • Bank reconciliation and preparing all DLD forms and requirements for Govt. audit
