A Marketo Analyst is responsible for managing, optimizing, and analyzing marketing automation campaigns using the Marketo platform. This role supports marketing and sales teams by ensuring effective campaign execution, data integrity, and actionable insights to drive business growth.
As a part of the CRM-Marketo team, you will:
- Marketo Platform Fundamentals
o Working knowledge of the Marketo interface, including efficient navigation through key features and dashboards
o Executing end-to-end email campaign workflows, including creation, scheduling, and performance readiness.
o Building and maintaining simple Smart Lists through the application of logical filter conditions for targeted segmentation.
o Setting up and cloning basic programs and campaigns
o Creating and updating landing pages using templates (Basic HTML/CSS skills for editing email and landing page layouts)
o Designing and updating forms (Progressive filling, Hidden fields, field masking, etc.)

o Detail-oriented, delivery, and rigorous testing of various campaign elements, including emails, landing pages, forms, and automated workflows

o Implement and monitor asset expiration policies to ensure timely updating or removal of outdated marketing assets.
- Campaign Management:
- Build, execute, and optimize email campaigns, ON24 campaigns, nurture programs, and landing pages within Marketo.
- Set up and oversee automated processes to handle routine tasks, ensuring that actions like sending emails, updating records, or transferring information happen automatically and efficiently
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and comply with best practices.
- Executing A/B testing on email campaigns to optimize content, subject lines, and send parameters.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:

o Utilize Marketo’s built-in reporting tools to track and analyze key campaign performance metrics—including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions—as well as program outcomes such as email and link performance and overall campaign results.

o Create and maintain Power Bi dashboards and share regular reports for stakeholders.
o Analyze campaign data to generate actionable data data-driven insights and provide recommendations that enhance campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Salesforce CRM management
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM database and its integration with Marketo.
- Creation of contacts, leads, and campaigns using Salesforce Inspector Tool.
o Updating records (Contacts, leads, Campaign Members) within CRM database with accurate information
- Creation of basic standard Salesforce reports for Campaign details and Contacts.
- Database Management:
- Maintain data quality, hygiene, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR).
- Perform data cleansing activities in Marketo & Salesforce
E.g.: Data merging, Archiving & deduplication
- Configure time-based triggers to detect and respond to inactive user behaviours within defined workflows.
- Manage data imports and list uploads within the Marketo database to create new Leads.
- Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate basic data sync issues between Marketo and CRM platforms.

o Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and eliminate redundant processes, improving overall efficiency and productivity.

o Document processes and best practices to help the team follow the optimal ways of working.

o Maintain standardized naming conventions for campaigns, assets, and data fields to ensure consistency and facilitate efficient reporting.
Project management:

o Strong understanding of Project management tools like ServiceNow, Monday.com.

o Track and report on project status, risks, issues, and outcomes using ServiceNow dashboards and reports.

o Configure and manage a dedicated mailbox for Campaign Support and monitor responses.

The USI BSO team at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization at the NSE level with a wide variety of capabilities, such as financial reporting, HR and financial transaction processing, administrative services and helpdesk support, marketing, and IT services.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, B. Tech/B.E., or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with any marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, SFMC, etc.).
- Marketo Certified Professional or any other relevant Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) certification is required.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel - sorting, filtering, basic formulas, Vlookup, Marketo Analytics, etc.).
- Experience with any CRM platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, or HubSpot.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization.
- Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of Power Bi (Basic DAX functions)
- Understanding of SQL or SOQL will be an added advantage.
