Analyst - Regulatory Reporting

Scope and Responsibilities
  • Reconciling trade level details against Global Trade Repositories for various regulatory regimes;
  • Serve as liaison between Regulatory Reporting Delegates and Oaktree to ensure reported trades adhere to regulatory standards;
  • Creating XML files with specific expertise in margin and valuation submission for Credit/Interest Rate/ and FX derivatives and submitting trades successfully to DTCC GTR under various regulatory regimes;
  • Confirming derivative trade economics versus long form confirmation documents;
  • Working with Oaktree’s FCM and internal stakeholders to provide relevant information related to account onboarding and upkeep;
  • Aiding the execution of new OTC Trading agreements through adhering and managing various ISDA protocols, regulatory documents, and internal databases;
  • Managing protocol adherence and questionnaire matching on S&P Global(Markit) ISDA Amend;
  • Automating and improving existing process to increase straight through processing and accuracy;
  • Procure data and process KPIs for various internal stakeholders and clients regarding regulatory reporting.
Experience Required:
  • 3+ years relevant operations experience; specific expertise and knowledge of derivative instruments, derivative onboarding and regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with ASIC/EMIR/MAS Regulatory Regimes with emphasis on Derivative Transaction Reporting
  • Experience working with industry utilities such as S&P Global/ISDA Amend/Counterparty Manager/DTCC GTR, and various major custodian portals, etc,
  • Experience in both Cleared/OTC derivatives and FX across all reference assets.
  • Experience extracting relevant information from trading agreements such as ISDA/MSFTA/MRA/CDEA,
  • Strong presentation, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Functional knowledge of XML File Formats, Microsoft Office Suite
