About the Role
The Primary purpose of this role is to lead IT Vendor management, purchasing planning, execution Software licensing demands and you will be responsible for managing and maintaining engineering software licenses within the MPT organization. This includes ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements and optimizing license utilization to minimize costs. The Senior Analyst works closely with various stakeholders, such as software vendors, procurement teams, and IT departments, to ensure proper requirement fulfillment.
Your Responsibilities

Lead Indirect Sourcing and Contract execution, focusing on Operational efficiency and cost Optimization

Ensure Compliance with internal and external audit requirements throughout the procurement process

Managing vendor data and contracts

Driving the renewal of software licenses and ensuring compliance Maintain supplier records, contract databases and procurement dashboards to enhance visibility and reporting

Collaborate with Cross-functional stakeholders across geographics to align requirements, resolve issues and deliver outcomes.

Market Intelligence, analyze the spend patterns to identify the opportunity for consolidation, demand management, alternative analysis

Take Contractual ownership for IT suppliers to ensure service levels and contractual obligations b/w Engineering and Cross functional teams.

Experience fostering a culture of collaboration b/w Engineering and vendor management teams to achieve continuous integration and delivery goals.

Facilitating the procurement and renewal processes for IT software solutions

Analyzing usage data to inform decision-making and provide operational recommendations

Providing assistance and support for purchasing audit requirements.

Ensuring the accurate maintenance of records and documentation for IT software licenses and contracts.
Who we are looking for

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or any similar education or work experience in that field is required

Deep Understanding of sourcing, Procurement and vendor management processes and methodologies within a global organization.

A strong understanding of software licensing models, agreements, and compliance requirements is essential. This includes knowledge of different license types (e.g., perpetual, subscription, concurrent), license metrics, and license management best practices. Fluent in English

Experience with software asset management tools,(SAP, ERP) such as license management systems or software asset management platforms is a strong benefit
Your preferred qualifications

Previous experience in IT Procurement, Vendor Management, software license management, software asset management, is highly desirable. This could include experience in managing software licenses, negotiating license agreements, conducting license audits, and optimizing license usage
