About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical, technically fluent Analytics Manager to bridge raw data, technical tracking expertise, and smart business decisions. This role is ideal for a data-driven problem solver who understands ecommerce metrics at a granular level—from acquisition through retention, subscription lifecycle, and LTV—and can confidently audit, validate, and optimize our tracking ecosystem. You will ensure data integrity, interpret business impact, and deliver actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Funnel Performance Analysis
- Conduct full-funnel analysis across acquisition, conversion, retention, and subscription lifecycle
- Monitor ecommerce KPIs (CAC, MER, ROAS, AOV, CVR, LTV, churn, renewal rate, MRR, contribution margin)
- Diagnose revenue shifts, conversion changes, and customer behavior trends
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and store health
Ecommerce Platform & Store Health Intelligence
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive summaries
- Identify revenue leaks, attribution gaps, and funnel inefficiencies
- Reconcile performance across Shopify, GA4, and attribution tools (Triple Whale)
Subscription & Retention Analytics
- Analyze subscription lifecycle metrics using platforms like Recharge
- Support optimization of subscription flows and retention strategies
- Integrate subscription data with overall ecommerce performance
Email & Lifecycle Performance (Klaviyo)
- Analyze campaign and flow performance
- Evaluate segmentation, automation, and attribution accuracy
- Ensure data consistency between Shopify, Klaviyo, and tracking platforms
GA4, Attribution & Advanced Tracking Analysis
- Leverage expert-level GA4 knowledge for ecommerce tracking and attribution
- Identify discrepancies between Shopify, GA4, and ad platforms
- Build custom reports and explorations to uncover insights
Technical Tracking & Tag Management
- Manage and optimize Google Tag Manager implementations
- Configure and validate pixels and event tracking (GA4, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads)
- Audit event architecture, data layers, and ecommerce schemas
Technical Tracking Audit (Critical Requirement)
- Conduct comprehensive audits of Shopify tracking infrastructure
- Validate event firing, parameter accuracy, and attribution flows
- Identify gaps, duplication, or inflated numbers
- Document findings, deliver remediation plans, and implement fixes
Experimentation & Forecasting
- Design and analyze experiments to inform strategic decisions
- Build predictive models and scenario analyses for growth planning
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams
- Train non-technical colleagues on dashboards, metrics, and best practices
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in ecommerce analytics (Shopify preferred)
- Deep understanding of ecommerce financial metrics and drivers
- Hands-on expertise with Shopify, GA4, GTM, web pixels, Recharge, Klaviyo, and attribution tools
- Strong SQL skills preferred
- Proven experience conducting technical tracking audits
- Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

You don’t just report data—you ensure its integrity, interpret its meaning, and use it to drive strategic growth.
