Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Systems Analyst

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Systems Analyst to join our team in the Norfolk, VA or San Diego, CA. This is a hybrid position that will require at least 1 day onsite per week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with Fleet ASW SMEs to understand the evolving challenges related to successive Aegis AWS Baselines receiving different ASW software and hardware combinations.

• Assist in enhancing ASW training capabilities by addressing fielding challenges and limitations for both Hardware and Software.

• Travel up to 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent education

• 10+ years of experience as a sonar technician (STG) on a surface ship

• Knowledge, skills and experience with all aspects of shipboard ASW operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understand IWS 5 Hardware and Software fielding along with their alternating year fielding schedules

• Familiarity with Aegis AWS Baselines and their integration challenges

• Experience interfacing with military organizations for the development and enhancement of training simulations

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current United States Government Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
