Anticipated School Library Media Specialist

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in library/media studies from an accredited institution
• Hold a New Jersey School Library Media Specialist certificate
• Demonstrates strong classroom management by creating a positive, respectful environment where students are engaged and expectations are clear
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of library media services.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
• Effectively integrates technology into instruction to support student learning and information literacy.
• Demonstrate proficiency with digital tools, library management systems, and educational software to enhance access to resources.
• Supports staff and students in using technology responsibly and creatively for research, collaboration, and presentations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,830.00 - $104,567.00 per year
