Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AP Subject tutors (Physics C, MATH, ENGLISH, HISTORY, SCIENCE) to support a motivated high-school student. The ideal candidate can explain complex, calculus-based physics concepts clearly and patiently, helping the student build confidence and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or semi private tutoring in AP Physics
• Break down challenging concepts and guide step-by-step problem solving
• Support homework, test prep, and AP FRQ
• preparation
• Maintain consistent scheduling and professional communication
• Build strong analytical and study skills with the student

Qualifications

• Degree in related field (Bachelor’s or higher preferred)
• Experience tutoring AP or college-level related subjects
• Strong communication skills; patient and supportive teaching style
• Reliable and organized

Preferred (Not Required)

• Familiarity with College Board AP curriculum
• Teaching credential or prior teaching experience

Schedule & Compensation

• 1–2 sessions per week (flexible schedule)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• In-person (Gardena/Torrance) or online
