We are hiring an experienced API Integration Tester to join our Client Service Implementation team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in API testing and a passion for delivering seamless integrations in the payments industry .

You’ll be responsible for validating API connections with clients, merchants, and partners—ensuring they meet technical specifications, security standards, and business requirements. The role is approximately 70% hands-on testing and 30% client coordination .

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and custom scripts
• Validate API responses, encryption, data formats, and error handling against product specifications
• Lead joint testing sessions with clients and provide technical guidance throughout the integration process
• Document test cases, log defects, and maintain detailed testing reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure alignment with business needs
• Stay current with API testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Support clients during onboarding and integration phases, ensuring timely issue resolution

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in API testing or backend integration validation

Preferred Experience:

• 6+ years in QA testing or backend validation for web/mobile platforms
• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, and tokenization
• Familiarity with EMV, ISO8583, and mobile payment technologies (e.g., Apple Pay, Samsung Pay)
• Experience working with developer platforms from payment technology providers
• Exposure to Android/iOS environments is a plus (for testing purposes only)

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in API protocols and testing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for client and internal team interactions
• Ability to manage multiple testing projects under tight timelines
• Fluent in English; Arabic and Urdu are a plus
• Passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement
