Application Engineer (HVAC)

We are looking for a skilled and technically sound Application Engineer with a background in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will support the sales team and clients by offering technical expertise, preparing HVAC system selections, technical submittals, and providing engineering solutions tailored to customer requirements. This role bridges the gap between sales and engineering, ensuring optimal performance and system design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements and propose technically accurate and cost-effective HVAC solutions.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing using HVAC software tools.
• Prepare technical submittals, BOQs, compliance statements, and system schematics.
• Support the sales team during pre-sales and post-sales activities with product presentations and technical clarifications.
• Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and project managers to ensure project success.
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Analyze tender documents and assist in preparation of bids and quotations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and product developments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compatibility and performance of proposed equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in application engineering or technical sales support in the HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, ductwork, and piping layouts.
• Proficiency in HVAC design and simulation tools such as HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, local codes, and green building regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• UAE driving license preferred (optional, based on job mobility).

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience in project execution or site coordination is a plus.
• Knowledge of control systems and BMS integration will be an advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
