BD Biosciences (BDB) is a leading provider of high-quality flow cytometry and single-cell genomics solutions, scientific research and clinical laboratories. Here, we are leading the way by developing the best technologies that have the ability to look closer at the details of cells and diseases.

About the role

The Applications Specialist for BD Biosciences will provide expert technical support, training, and troubleshooting for BD's flow cytometry and cell analysis products to customers across Saudi Arabia.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations, installations, and training sessions for BD Biosciences instruments and reagents to end-users in laboratories, hospitals, and research institutions.
• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for BDB products, both on-site and remotely, ensuring optimal instrument performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs, provide pre-sales technical expertise, and contribute to the development of tailored solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Stay up to date with the latest product developments, applications, and industry trends in flow cytometry and cell analysis.
• Participate in scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars to represent BD and present technical information.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on customer activities, technical issues, and market feedback.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science).
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry instrumentation and applications, preferably with BD Biosciences products.
• Strong understanding of cellular analysis techniques, immunology, and related scientific principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex technical information.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia.
