AR / Invoicing Specialist

Join our dynamic team as a Construction Billing and Job Costing Specialist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting, project analysis, and financial software to ensure accurate billing, and cost tracking. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute directly to the success of our construction operations, providing transparency and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customer invoices (progress billing, AIA billing, T&M, retainage)
• Track contracts, change orders, and job costs
• Verify labor, materials, and subcontractor charges
• Handle lien waivers and compliance paperwork
• Work closely with project managers
• Enter employee labor hours, travel, per diem etc by job
• Allocate equipment and rental costs
• Record material purchases and deliveries

• Progress billing
• AIA billing
• Time & Material (T&M)
• Retention tracking
• Change order billing

Skills Employers Usually Look For

• Construction accounting or billing experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of AIA forms
• Ability to communicate with project managers, vendors, and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
