Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in Arabic cuisine
  • English/Arabic speaking
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Arabic dishes and cooking techniques
  • Experience in high-volume kitchens or delivery-focused operations is an advantage
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during peak hours
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Arabic hot dishes (grills, rice, stews, etc.)
  • Manage online order production flow to ensure timely preparation and dispatch
  • Maintain consistency, taste, and presentation across all delivery orders
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff during service
  • Ensure proper food portioning, quality control, and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house / dispatch team for smooth order handling
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control and ordering
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with food safety regulations
  • Assist in menu development for online platforms if required
