Architect – Food & Beverage (F&B) Projects

Position Summary:

The Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing F&B projects including restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, bars, and food production spaces. The ideal candidate understands commercial kitchen planning, customer flow, brand identity integration, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Develop architectural concepts and detailed designs for F&B outlets
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with kitchen consultants, MEP engineers, contractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire safety, and health regulations
  • Optimize kitchen workflows and front-of-house layouts
  • Manage project timelines and site supervision
  • Review materials, finishes, and construction quality
  • Support budgeting and cost control during project execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred)
  • 3–8+ years of experience in architectural design
  • Proven experience in restaurant, café, hospitality, or F&B projects
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen planning and F&B operational requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software
  • Strong project coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with brand rollout projects
  • Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficient design
  • Experience working with restaurant groups or hospitality developers
