Architect/Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Conceptualize and develop interior design concepts, creating mood boards, space plans, and design proposals for clients.
• Technical Documentation: Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documents using design software like AutoCAD and 3D MAX.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand project requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Material & Product Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and other products to align with the design vision.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines and budgets, set project fees, and oversee work progress from concept to completion.
• Coordination: Liaise with contractors, engineers, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure designs are executed accurately on-site.
• Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3D MAX) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Creativity & Aesthetics: A strong eye for design, color, texture, light, and the ability to think creatively about space.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Problem-Solving: The ability to offer innovative design solutions and suggest improvements or alternatives when necessary.
• Industry Knowledge: An understanding of design trends, sustainability, and industry evolutions.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous interior design or architectural projects is essential.
• Education: BS Architecture
