Qualifications – Architectural Draftsman

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Technical certification in CAD/BIM is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience from UAE or from home country as an Architectural Draftsman
• Experience in preparing authority submission drawings is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and standards is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Revit (BIM) is an advantage.
• Experience in preparing:
• Architectural working drawings
• Authority drawing package
• Modification Package
• As-built drawings
• Detail drawings
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

Knowledge Requirements

• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality or other local authorities & Developer design guidelines) is an advantage.
• Understanding of building materials and construction methods.
• Familiarity with local building codes and standards.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
