Architectural Draughtsman

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in 2D drafting software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Proficient in BOQ preparation, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs, including experience with software such as PlanSwift.
• Proficient in 3D modeling and visualization tools, such as Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction industry
• Strong attention to detail, technical drafting skills, and ability to follow approved designs accurately.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers and site teams.
• Good communication skills; proficiency in English required.
• Candidate must be between 30-40 years of age
• Experience working in a marble factory, particularly in the preparation of cutting lists, is preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other relevant software.
• Develop 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations using SketchUp and Lumion to support design coordination and client approvals.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for projects, ensuring accurate measurement of materials and works.
• Preparation of cutting lists and verify dimensions and specifications of slabs or tiles.
• Review and update drawings in accordance with authority comments, site conditions, and construction requirements.
• Assist in obtaining design approvals and permits from relevant authorities.
• Provide technical support to site teams and respond to RFIs, design clarifications, and revisions as required.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Support project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
