Architectural Engineer

Job Summary:

The Architectural Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring they are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing. This role bridges architecture and engineering by integrating technical solutions with design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architectural and engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design compatibility.
  • Review and analyze project requirements, codes, and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents using CAD or BIM software.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and standards.
  • Evaluate materials, systems, and construction methods for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Resolve design and construction issues during project execution.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles (LEED or similar).
  • Project management experience is a plus.
