Architectural Technical Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technical AutoCAD Draftsman with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Architectural Technical shop drawings to join our Technical Office. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed architectural technical shop drawings in coordination with site and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical architectural shop drawings, including but not limited to:

-Detailed architectural drawings

-Bathroom tiling drawings

-Tile flooring drawings

-Blockwork drawings

-Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP)

-Landscape drawings

-Finishes and detailing drawings

-Architectural as-built drawings.

-Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, and other disciplines to avoid clashes.

-Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site instructions, and authority approvals.

-Prepare drawings for authority submissions and follow up on revisions as required.

-Assist the Technical Office team in design clarifications, value engineering proposals, and tender drawings.

-Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, approved materials, and local building codes.

-Maintain proper control of drawing revisions, drawing registers, and document records.

-Coordinate closely with site engineers to reflect actual site conditions in shop and as-built drawings.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience as an Architectural Technical Draftsman.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).

Solid understanding of construction details, materials, and architectural finishes.

Hands-on experience in preparing technical shop drawings for execution.

Ability to read and interpret architectural design drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Good coordination and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
