Area Manager

The Area Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of poultry farms within a designated region in Saudi Arabia. This role ensures optimal productivity, biosecurity compliance, animal welfare, and team performance. The Area Manager will coordinate with production, veterinary, logistics, and maintenance teams to meet company goals for output, quality, and cost-efficiency .

• Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operations of multiple poultry farms (broiler or layer) within the assigned area.
• Monitor production performance indicators including growth rate, feed conversion ratio, mortality rate, and flock health.
• Supervise and support farm managers, workers, and technical staff.
• Ensure implementation of biosecurity protocols, animal welfare standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with veterinary teams for disease prevention, vaccination programs, and health monitoring.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team for timely delivery of feed, chicks, and other inputs.
• Maintain strict records of production, feed consumption, and inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on farm performance and challenges to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local government regulations, including Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture guidelines.
• Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of farm staff.
• Handle emergency issues such as disease outbreaks or equipment failures.

• Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Production, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in poultry farming, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of broiler/layer production systems, disease management, and poultry nutrition.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites within the region.
• Valid Saudi driving license (or ability to obtain one).
