Area Sales Manager

Description

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who will be capable of increasing sales within an assigned geographical area and guiding a team of field sales representatives. Also, delivering presentations to potential and existing customers, evaluate the performance of the sales team, and prepare concise sales reports.

Role

  • Thorough knowledge of the product and its market for which you are appointed for
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Good business sense to forecast sales goals and its achievement.
  • The ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
  • Initiative and enthusiasm towards his targets and company’s goal
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills to implement sales plans on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure with their team.
  • Regular visits to dealers’ stores for procurement of orders and collection of payments as per company’s policy
  • Handling knowledge of primary and secondary sales.
  • Knowledge of launching new product and its placement.
  • Developing and managing customer relationship.
  • Keep watch on competitors’ activities and market trend.
  • Forecasting sales, developing “out of the box” sales strategies/models, and evaluating their effectiveness
  • Evaluate Vendors’ skills, and needs and build productive long-lasting relationship

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent phone and presentation skills to satisfy the customers.
  • Experience 5+ years
  • Excellent communication and 'people skills'
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
