Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with a PhD and deep expertise in building AI and machine learning models from the ground up. This role requires strong theoretical knowledge, hands-on experience with custom model architecture design, and a deep understanding of data-driven problem-solving. You will be a key contributor to our AI initiatives, driving innovation through novel algorithms and scalable AI solutions across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Design and implement AI/ML models from scratch, going beyond off-the-shelf solutions.

2) Conduct thorough research on cutting-edge AI methodologies and integrate them into product pipelines.

3) Build and optimize deep learning architectures for tasks such as language understanding, chatbots or recommendation systems.

4) Stay ahead of trends in AI research and evaluate new tools, libraries, and frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or related field.

Proven track record in developing, fine-tuning and integrating AI models.

Proficient in AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar.

Proficient in Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar.

Experience in working with large-scale datasets, data preprocessing, and model deployment pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with distributed training and high-performance computing.

Familiarity with model compression, quantization, and inference optimization techniques.

Knowledge of DevOps tools for ML (Docker, MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.).

Ability to mentor junior AI researchers or engineers.
