Purpose of the Role
At Repton School Dubai, every first impression matters. The Assessment Coordinator ensures that each child and family’s introduction to Repton reflects our values of excellence, ambition, and care. This role supports the admissions process by coordinating and conducting academic and play-based assessments for prospective students across EYFS to Year 13. Warm, professional, and student-focused, the Assessment Coordinator helps families feel at ease, ensuring that every assessment experience reflects the world-class standards and nurturing ethos that define Repton.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment Delivery
Coordinate and conduct age-appropriate assessments for applicants across EYFS to Year 13, ensuring each process reflects Repton’s high standards and caring ethos.
Assessments range from play-based activities for younger children to academic and reasoning assessments for older applicants, delivered in collaboration with the Academic and Inclusion teams.
Support the administration of CAT4 and other diagnostic tools for upper primary and secondary applicants, maintaining a calm and well-organised environment.
Ensure all assessments are conducted professionally and consistently, providing an excellent experience for both students and parents.
Liaise with relevant teams to ensure all assessment data is recorded accurately and reviewed promptly.
For Sixth Form and boarding applicants, coordinate required documentation, interviews, and references in line with school policy.
Parent and Student Experience
Welcome families with warmth and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their Repton experience.
Engage naturally with children and young people to help them relax, ensuring assessments reflect their true ability and character.
Provide parents with clear, reassuring overviews of the process and next steps.
Liaise with Admissions and Academic colleagues on assessment outcomes, next stages, and follow-ups.
Administrative Support
Maintain accurate digital records of assessment outcomes and attendance, updating CRM systems accordingly.
Support group assessment days and Admissions events as required.
Assist with report preparation, data entry, and communication to parents.
Skills and Attributes
Warm, approachable, and confident communicator.
Experience working with children and young people across EYFS, Primary, and Senior School age groups.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Professional in presentation and conduct, upholding Repton’s values at all times.
Discreet and reliable when handling confidential information.
Qualifications and Experience
Background in Education, Early Years, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Experience in a school or admissions environment desirable.
Familiarity with school-based assessment tools such as CAT4, phonics, or reading assessments advantageous.
Contract Type
This is a temporary, flexible position supporting the Repton School Dubai admissions process during the peak enrolment period. The role will operate on a daily rate basis and may be extended subject to operational needs.
