Assistant

GR Trading Company is a leading supplier of industrial machinery and raw materials for the printing and signage industry, specializing in CO₂ & Fiber Laser Machines, CNC Routers, UV Printers, Laminators, Plotters, Air Compressors, and a wide range of consumables. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Imports Assistant to support our import operations and ensure smooth handling of international procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the complete import documentation process (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, COO, etc.).
• Communicate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to track shipments and resolve issues.
• Maintain records of imports, customs clearance documents, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and update import data sheets, cost sheets, and Excel reports.
• Coordinate with clearing agents, transporters, and internal departments for timely delivery of goods.
• Verify import-related expenses (duties, taxes, shipping charges) and share with accounts for processing.
• Support the import manager in negotiations and vendor follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with customs rules, import policies, and company SOPs.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills (English & Urdu).
• Proficiency in MS Excel (data management, costing, reporting).
• Familiarity with import procedures, customs regulations, and HS codes is preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in import/logistics/supply chain (fresh graduates with strong skills may also apply).
• Qualities: Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under deadlines.
