Assistant Accountant

Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant (Male) | Meds Nexus – Rawalpindi

Meds Nexus, a leading name in the medical billing industry, is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for candidates who are QuickBooks/Bookkeeping experts with proven experience in handling accounts and financial records. Key Responsibilities

· Record and reconcile daily transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and payment vouchers.

· Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions in QuickBooks.

· Maintain and update payroll, tax filings (withholding, etc.), and statutory deductions.

· Generate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Aged Receivables/Payables).

· Ensure data accuracy and integrity in QuickBooks.

· Support audit and tax filing processes.

· Coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed.

· Handle petty cash and expense tracking.

Requirements:

· Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting or bookkeeping.

· Must be an expert in QuickBooks Online and Desktop – hands-on experience required.

· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP or local standards).

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

· High attention to detail, organized, and reliable.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
