Assistant Accountant

Noorka Logistics is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations and helps ensure accurate financial records in a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining books of accounts, including ledgers and journals.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of entries.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial clarifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; accounting software knowledge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
