Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities:1. Cashier Responsibilities

  • Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Issue invoices and receipts to customers.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and maintain cash drawer balance.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and submit reports to Accounts.
  • Maintain POS system accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Ensure proper filing of sales invoices and transaction records.
  • Provide excellent customer service at the billing counter.

2. Accounts Assistant Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily accounting entries and voucher preparation.
  • Maintain petty cash records and reconciliation.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and submit to Finance.
  • Assist in bank deposits and bank reconciliation.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports as required.

3. Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with branch managers regarding daily collections.
  • Assist in payroll data submission if required.
  • Maintain records of credit customers and follow up on outstanding payments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour
