We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for ACCA students, AAT qualified candidates, or accounting graduates who are looking to build a long-term career in practice. You will receive structured training and hands-on experience across key areas of accounting and tax.
Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and data entry using cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Assisting with preparation and submission of VAT returns

Supporting payroll processing and pension submissions
-
Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts

Supporting corporation tax and self-assessment tax return preparation

Maintaining accurate financial records and client documentation

Communicating with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
Requirements
Essential:
-
ACCA student, AAT qualified, accounting graduate, or equivalent

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

High attention to detail and accuracy

Willingness to learn and develop professionally

Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but Not Required)

Basic knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

Previous internship or relevant work experience
