Assistant Accountant (Sales/Income Tax)

Qualification:

• Minimum B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) or equivalent

Experience & Expertise Required:

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Sales Tax Return filing
• Hands-on experience in Income Tax matters
• Proficiency in handling Withholding Tax (deduction, filing, and compliance)
• Familiar with accounting principles and practices
• Good command of MS Excel and accounting software ERP

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and file monthly/quarterly/annual Sales Tax Returns
• Assist in preparation and submission of Income Tax Returns
• Manage Withholding Tax deductions, deposits, and statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Support internal and external audits
• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks as assigned by senior accounts staff
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
