Assistant Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Architect to work closely with our Chief Engineer. The selected candidate will assist in site coordination, supervision, and reporting, and will conduct site visits on behalf of the Chief Engineer to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in day-to-day site activities and project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits on behalf of the Chief Engineer and report progress.
• Supervise construction work to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site staff for smooth execution of work.
• Identify site issues, discrepancies, or design conflicts and report them promptly.
• Ensure implementation of approved drawings, BOQs, and material specifications on site.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, and daily site logs.
• Monitor workmanship, material usage, and site safety practices.
• Assist in inspections, measurements, and verification of completed work.
• Support coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP works.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in site supervision or construction projects (fresh graduates with strong site knowledge may also apply).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and site practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes and construction standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read architectural drawings.
• Basic understanding of structural and MEP coordination.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle site responsibilities independently when required.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for site visits as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
