Assistant Baker

The Assistant Baker supports the Head Baker in preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts. This role involves assisting in daily production, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Support the baking process for breads, pastries, and desserts.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
  • Operate baking equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and proofers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
  • Ensure all baked items meet company quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitor inventory and report shortages of ingredients or supplies.
  • Assist in packaging, labeling, and storing finished products properly.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Support the Head Baker in developing new products and recipes.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Baker or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team.
  • Good attention to detail and quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR2,000.00 per month
