Assistant Boutique Manager - Kuwait

Located in the heart of Place Vendome, the Maison Chaumet is a major actor in the luxury sector and represents the symbol of the Parisian jewellery excellence since its creation in 1780. Thanks to its exceptional knowledge passed from one generation to the other, Chaumet’s history is merged with the French History and that of the Empress Joséphine. In this dynamic and challenging growth context, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Chaumet Middle East as the Assistant Boutique Manager of The Avenues in Kuwait.

You will represent the Maison by:

Being the second leader in charge of the boutique in The Avenues, Kuwait. He/she works closely with the Boutique Manager to contribute to run properly the Boutique, meeting KPI’s and striving to achieve assigned goals. He/she is responsible for clienteling, commercial performance, visual merchandising, operations, sales, profitability, team and management.

Commercial Performance & Business Growth

  • Sales & KPI Excellence: Optimize sales performance and consistently exceed ambitious targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with Maison Chaumet's global objectives and upholding the highest standards of client reception and boutique attractiveness.
  • Strategic Client Development: Identify and implement strategies for "up-selling" and cross-selling, focusing on Chaumet's iconic collections to enhance average transaction value and drive new client acquisition.
  • Operational Efficiency: Proactively optimize boutique activities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability, supported by insightful sales and KPI analysis.

Boutique Management & Team Leadership

  • Team Inspiration: Inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve individual and collective sales and service excellence, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure flawless day-to-day operations, including pristine boutique maintenance, impeccable service standards, precise cash desk management, efficient after-sales service, and strategic staff scheduling.
  • Leadership Support: Actively assist the Boutique Manager in all aspects of boutique operations, contributing to strategic decision-making and continuous team development.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor luxury market trends and competitor activities to maintain Chaumet's competitive edge.

Clienteling & Relationship Mastery

  • Elite Client Management: Develop and enrich a high-value client database, serving as a trusted point of contact to maximize client engagement and long-term relationships with Chaumet.
  • Personalized Client Experiences: Implement advanced strategies to retain and upgrade clientele through personalized outreach and the expert utilization of CRM and clienteling tools.
  • Service Perfection: Drive continuous improvement in client experience, developing action plans to consistently exceed expectations and elevate Mystery Shopper results.

Chaumet Brand Ambassador

  • Maison Storyteller: Be an exemplary ambassador for Chaumet, passionately promoting its rich heritage, craftsmanship, and unique creations through compelling storytelling that creates emotional connections with clients.
  • Visual Excellence: Ensure the precise implementation and maintenance of visual merchandising guidelines, reflecting Chaumet's prestige and aesthetic vision.
  • Values & Projects: Actively embody and promote Chaumet's values, contributing to Maison projects and delivering unforgettable, culturally rich client moments.

Votre profil

  • 8-9 years progressive luxury retail experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory/management role (e.g., Supervisor, Deputy Store Manager, Assistant Boutique Manager), preferably in luxury jewellery.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferred
  • Fluent English required; fluency in Arabic is strongly preferred.
  • Strong commercial drive, goal-oriented, passionate about luxury jewellery
  • Excellent administrative and financial acumen, proficient in retail management systems.
  • Highly empathetic, exceptional interpersonal and client-centric skills (storytelling, communication), strong business acumen, and proven strong leadership abilities.
