The Assistant Branch Manager will support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves supervising sales activities, maintaining stock control, and ensuring compliance with company policies to achieve branch targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Supervise, guide, and motivate branch staff to meet performance goals.
- Ensure smooth daily branch operations, including sales, customer service, and cash handling.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Support in planning and executing promotional campaigns, product displays, and sales events.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with the warehouse, and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain branch cleanliness, layout, and visual merchandising standards.
- Review and verify daily sales reports, cash collection, and deposits.
- Train and develop staff to improve product knowledge and customer service.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.
- Act as Acting Branch Manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in retail operations or sales supervision (furniture/consumer goods preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of retail sales, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
