Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Buyer to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will support purchasing operations, analyze sales and inventory data, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Candidates must be currently available in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Buyer in merchandise selection and purchasing decisions
  • Analyze sales reports and inventory levels
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment orders
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, product details, and delivery schedules
  • Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts
  • Research market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences
  • Maintain accurate product and vendor records
  • Assist with product launches and promotional planning
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies and supplier issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Retail, or related field (preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in retail or purchasing (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
