Assistant Designer

Major Major Inc (Dress division of S. Rothschild & Co.) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Assistant Designer to join our design team. This role will support the design department in the development of seasonal collections and daily operations.

Main Responsibilities:

· Create detailed design worksheets in Adobe Illustrator for overseas factories.

· Photograph samples, edit images, and prepare presentation boards.

· Coordinate with factories to prepare showroom samples.

· Assist head designer with all stages of the design process.

· Source trims and materials from the local market.

Qualifications

· 2–3 years of relevant experience in fashion design, preferably in dresses.

· Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

· Strong understanding of garment construction and pattern-making.

· Knowledge of print layout is a plus.

· Highly organized and adaptable, able to pivot tasks quickly as needed.

· Excellent communication skills; a team player who works well with both design and production teams.

· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000 – $65,000, commensurate with experience
