Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Brand Building
- Develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy tailored to the hospital's services, specialties, and community needs.
- Build and promote the hospital's brand identity online (logo, voice, visual guidelines).
- Collaborate with management to align marketing goals with the hospital’s mission and growth plans.
2. Website Development & Management
- Oversee the design, development, and ongoing management of the hospital website.
- Ensure SEO optimization for service pages, doctor profiles, and blog content.
- Add features like online appointment booking, telehealth access, and contact forms.
3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Perform keyword research focused on medical services and local SEO.
- Optimize content and structure for better visibility in search engines.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to drive traffic and appointments.
4. Social Media Marketing
- Create and manage social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
- Develop engaging content about hospital news, health tips, doctor interviews, and patient stories.
- Run targeted ads for specific services (e.g., maternity care, diagnostics).
5. Content Marketing
- Plan and produce content such as health blogs, videos, infographics, and newsletters.
- Work with doctors and staff to create educational or promotional content.
- Use storytelling to highlight patient experiences and success stories.
6. Online Reputation Management
- Monitor reviews on platforms like Google, Practo, Facebook, and JustDial.
- Respond professionally to patient feedback and coordinate resolution of complaints.
- Encourage satisfied patients to leave positive reviews.
7. Email & SMS Marketing
- Design email campaigns for health check-ups, awareness events, and hospital updates.
- Segment audiences (e.g., diabetics, maternity patients) and personalize content.
- Use SMS for appointment reminders, campaigns, or urgent updates.
8. Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and SEMrush to track KPIs.
- Regularly report on performance (traffic, conversions, lead quality, etc.).
- Adjust campaigns based on performance data.
9. Collaboration & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external agencies (designers, ad agencies, SEO experts) as needed.
- Work closely with the medical, operations, and patient service teams to align communication.
- Assist with offline promotion integration (events, health camps, local partnerships).
10. Compliance & Ethics
- Ensure that all marketing activities comply with healthcare advertising regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain data privacy and adhere to HIPAA or local healthcare data laws.
