is seeking an assistant editor to join the newsroom’s fact-checking team. This assistant editor will work with
The Atlantic
’s journalists and editors to ensure the accuracy and fairness of our work. This position will involve fact-checking across our editorial platforms (magazine, web, podcasts, etc.) on a wide range of topics, including politics, culture, science, and technology.

This role is based in Washington, D.C.
Annual salary minimum: $69,000
Annual salary maximum: $75,000
This is a Guild position.
