Assistant Facility Manager - Technical

Job Summary
The Assistant Technical Manager supports the Technical Manager in managing day-to-day technical operations, maintenance activities, and statutory compliance of the facility. The role ensures smooth functioning of all engineering systems while maintaining safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily technical and maintenance operations.
Ensure smooth operation of MEP systems (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire & Safety).
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for technical works.
Monitor AMC contracts, service reports, and performance of vendors.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, and safety standards.
Assist in energy management initiatives and cost optimization.
Maintain technical documentation, drawings, SOPs, and maintenance logs.
Support project activities such as renovations, fit-outs, and minor CAPEX works.
Handle emergency situations and provide technical support during incidents.
Guide and supervise technicians and support staff on-site.
Skills & Competencies
Good technical troubleshooting skills
Vendor and team coordination
Knowledge of safety and statutory compliance
Basic understanding of budgeting and cost control
Strong communication and reporting skills
