Assistant Finance Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our Doha office. This role supports the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving effective financial planning and control across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day financial operations and accounting activities
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements in Qatar
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
• Monitor general ledger accuracy and assist in month-end closing activities
• Prepare management reports and financial performance analysis
• Support internal controls implementation and process improvements
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit preparation and follow-up
• Analyze variances and provide insights to support decision-making

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
