Job Title: Product Specialist / Country Manager – Powergen (KSA)

Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Reports To: Business Head – NA & KSA

Role Overview

The position will lead business development, Sales management, channel management, and key account operations for the Power Generation segment in the KSA region. The role requires strong technical acumen, commercial orientation, and the ability to drive project execution across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a blend of engineering expertise, sales leadership, and operational excellence within the power or engine-related industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification (preferred).
  • Age: 30–35 years.

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Project Management.
  • Experience working with engines, powergen applications, or related technical products is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business and project scoping, planning, resource estimation, scheduling, and execution.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery including task allocation, progress tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Develop and manage channel partners; identify and onboard new channels in the region.
  • Provide support in establishing and strengthening service channels to support customer operations.
  • Manage key accounts, especially large and strategic customers.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams (engineering, supply chain, service, finance) and external stakeholders.
  • Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
  • Drive communication management, cost control, and sales performance.
  • Ensure timely reporting to internal leadership and customer management teams.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong technical and operational leadership with the ability to manage multi-functional project teams.
  • Engineering background with strong business orientation.
  • In-depth knowledge of engines and related applications.
  • Experience in logistics-heavy, high-volume, or diversified product environments.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
