Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant HR Manager to support end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, payroll coordination, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operational knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a people-first approach.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment for technical, academic, and non-technical roles
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and manage offer processes
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports
2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, and documentation
- Ensure smooth joining formalities and HR orientation
- Maintain employee records (HRMS, files, contracts, letters)
- Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit processes
3. Payroll & Compliance Support
- Assist in monthly payroll coordination and validation
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, Labour Laws, Gratuity)
- Support audits and statutory inspections
- Coordinate with finance teams and external vendors
4. Performance Management & Training
- Support performance appraisal cycles and KPI tracking
- Assist in training need analysis and training coordination
- Maintain training records and feedback reports
5. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Address employee queries and grievances professionally
- Support employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee satisfaction
- Assist in disciplinary processes as per company policy
6. HR Policies & MIS Reporting
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Prepare HR MIS reports (attendance, attrition, hiring, leave, payroll)
- Support HR analytics and management reporting
