Assistant HR Services Manager

The role:

Responsible for delivering a high-quality employee experience for new and departing Mace employees across MENA. Accountable for the seamless delivery of the team’s two keystone processes (onboarding and offboarding) – ensuring a high-quality, professionally executed experience that reflects positively upon both the HR team and the wider Mace MEA.

Acting as the single point of accountability, responsible for end-to-end relationship management with the candidate/employee and also with senior business managers. Working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders and teams, accountable for ensuring that processes are delivered on time and with quality while also ensuring that employee onboarding and separations are managed in full alignment with local law and regulations.

Responsible for supporting the ongoing CI and development of team processes, tools, and templates.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Accountable for the onboarding of new Mace MENA hires:

    • Execution of candidate meetings, query, and relationship management.

    • Ensuring silent, timely, and compliant delivery of the visa issuance process.

    • Supporting new-to-country employees to close out their visa process and in-country setup through the first three months of their employment.

    • Delivery of the HR induction and other employee assimilation training events.

    • Relationship management for talent acquisition and programme stakeholders, Mace HCPs, and our external service providers.


  • Accountable for ‘silent’ management of employee separation processes:

    • Execution of employee meetings, query, and relationship management.

    • Ensuring that employee offboardings are managed in a fully compliant way, managing different teams and dependencies in support.

    • Maintenance of collaborative relationships with HCPs and other internal stakeholders, including payroll, finance, and line managers.

    • Day-to-day management of associated data and reporting.


  • Ongoing project profile and support:

    • Execution of BAU processes in support of employees ongoing regulatory compliance.

    • Maintenance of a calendar of weekly site visits in support of new candidates onboarding, and business relationship management.

You’ll need to have:

  • A good understanding of the principle of the UAE/Saudi labour law (or within equivalent GCC jurisdictions).

  • Experience of working in HR/HR operational or service roles.

  • Experience of working in the construction/construction consultancy sector.

  • Experience working in recruitment/talent acquisition.

  • Experience working in HR or other fast-paced operational environments.
