Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of an Assistant Key Accounts Manager:

You will be managing and nurturing relationships with key retail customers. You will partner with KAM to lead yearly negotiations, including strategic planning, commercial terms and long-term placements. By understanding client needs and market dynamics, the role aims to strengthen long-term partnerships and maximize revenue from key accounts.

Things you will be doing for the Business:

  • Drive the achievement of sales targets (Volume & Value) and ensure profitable growth across assigned key accounts, optimizing trade investments and category performance
  • Lead Joint Business Plan (JBP) development and execution with key customers, negotiating strategic agreements and securing long-term partnerships
  • Own end-to-end management of trade marketing activations, ensuring seamless execution of in-store visibility, product launches, and promotional activities with a focus on ROI
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade customers, acting as the primary liaison to enhance partnerships and secure business expansion opportunities
  • Oversee distributor operations, ensuring efficient demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment to prevent out-of-stock situations
  • Drive category growth by securing premium space allocations, optimizing planograms, and ensuring superior shelf visibility through data-driven insights and negotiation
  • Monitor and analyze customer sales trends, market data, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Lead and develop sales and merchandising teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring executional excellence in all trade initiatives


What we are looking for in you?

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s or master’s degree
