Our client is a leading company operating in the equipment rental and leasing sector in Saudi Arabia. Established in 2009, the company initially focused on crane rental services and has since expanded to offer competitive equipment leasing solutions to a wide range of clients.
The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage repair and maintenance operations in line with manufacturer standards across assigned regions, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective execution while leading maintenance teams and building strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise and manage preventive, corrective, and workshop maintenance activities in line with manufacturer standards

Ensure the technical condition and safe operation of company equipment
-
Develop and implement procedures and policies for preventive, corrective, and workshop maintenance activities in coordination with the Head of Maintenance
-
Implement preventive maintenance schedules for cranes and heavy equipment
-
Execute corrective maintenance plans for equipment operating on project sites and in workshops

Coordinate company equipment and designated staff during operations
-
Monitor equipment and staff working hours and ensure proper recording
-
Oversee spare parts ordering processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to departmental budgets

Manage Maintenance Supervisors, Coordinators, Technicians, and related staff

Take full responsibility for parts ordering, repairs, and corrective maintenance processes

Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time, effectively, and within budget

Maintain a daily breakdown and repair database, ensuring timely reporting and scheduling of repairs

Liaise with customers when required to ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and efficiency

Achieve agreed KPIs in line with Senior Management expectations and report on a regular basis

Ensure compliance with ISO and relevant industry standards within the department
Secondary Responsibilities

Support maintenance activities to ensure they are performed efficiently and within budget
HSEQ Responsibilities

Perform all duties in a safe manner and avoid unsafe practices

Report accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately to the HSEQ Supervisor and Head of Maintenance

Actively participate in safety meetings and conduct regular toolbox talks for the maintenance team

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when required
Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or a related field
-
5–7 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role

Strong scheduling and planning capabilities

Strong reporting and presentation skills

Proven ability to develop and improve company policies and procedures

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
-
Established relationships with heavy equipment (crane) manufacturers and local vendors
-
Good knowledge of applicable industry safety standards
-
Strong technical expertise in heavy equipment (e.g., All-Terrain, Rough-Terrain, and Crawler cranes), including repair and maintenance

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage
