Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably within the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations

Prepare financial statements and reports

Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Bank reconciliation

Payment planning to vendors

Negotiation with vendors on payment terms

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables

Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes

Supervise and guide junior accounting staff

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3–5 years of relevant experience (Retail sector experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and team management abilities
