Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance for our Denim Garments Division. The ideal candidate will support the Finance Manager in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations).
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cost structures related to denim production, including raw material, freight, duties, and overheads.
• Handle supplier and vendor payments, bank dealings, and liaison with auditors.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and merchandising teams for financial matters.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Education: MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ACCA / CA (Part Qualified) or equivalent.
• Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in denim garments industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP & MS Excel (advanced level).
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
