Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to manage and control day-to-day accounting operations for our manufacturing unit. The role demands strong expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST compliance, statutory filings, PF/ESI, bank reconciliations, and stock audits. The candidate will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Accounts Payable (AP)
- End-to-end management of vendor accounts
- Verification of purchase invoices with GRN, PO, and statutory compliance
- Timely processing of vendor payments and reconciliation of vendor statements
- Monitoring outstanding payables and ageing analysis
- Ensuring proper deduction and payment of TDS where applicable
2. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Monitoring customer invoices, collections, and outstanding balances
- Regular follow-up with sales and customers for timely collections
- Customer ledger reconciliation and ageing control
- Handling credit notes, debit notes, and adjustments
3. GST & Indirect Taxation
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Monthly reconciliation of sales, purchases, and input tax credit
- Handling GST audits, notices, and departmental queries
- Ensuring compliance with GST laws, rules, and timelines
- Coordination with consultants for GST-related matters
4. Statutory & Payroll Compliance
- Handling statutory compliances such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS
- Monthly and annual statutory filings and returns
- Coordination with payroll team for statutory deductions
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws applicable to manufacturing units
5. Bank & Financial Controls
- Preparation and review of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
- Monitoring cash flow and bank balances
- Supporting fund planning and payment schedules
- Maintaining proper documentation and audit trails
6. Stock Audit & Inventory Accounting
- Regular reconciliation of physical stock with books
- Supporting internal and external stock audits
- Monitoring inventory valuation and movement
- Coordination with production, stores, and logistics teams
- Identifying variances and implementing corrective actions
7. Books of Accounts & Reporting
- Maintaining accurate books of accounts as per accounting standards
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Preparation of MIS reports for management review
- Ensuring compliance with internal control systems
8. Audit & Coordination
- Coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants
- Providing data, explanations, and schedules during audits
- Ensuring timely closure of audit observations
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience in Payables, Receivables, GST, Stock Audit, Statutory Compliance, PF & BRS
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing accounting processes
- Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Strong coordination and communication skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation sheets)
- Basic understanding of cost accounting and inventory valuation
Qualification & Experience
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred)
- Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹43,000.00 per month
