About the role:
This role is responsible for supporting business applications operations by ensuring KPI adherence, troubleshooting, delivering effective solutions, and ensuring seamless system performance. It involves close coordination with stakeholders and vendors to maintain service availability, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement through automation and innovation.

Good understanding of writing shell scripts and process of automating the repeated analysis.

Responsible for active involvement and management of all Operations activities.

Ensure 24/7 systems/servers/services availability and backed up.

Configuration and troubleshooting of application services and network.

Co-ordination with vendors for RCA, fault identification, rectification and patch implementation.

Participation in showing innovation/out-of-box thinking to bring value to the department.
Your typical day at work:
-
Responsible for monitoring, support, and maintenance of applications and services across on-premises and AWS environments, including handling subscriber complaints.Â
-
Perform statistical analysis, tracing, and protocol-level analysis; utilize log analysis and debugging techniques to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Â

Possess strong knowledge of web servers (IIS, etc.), web protocols/APIs (HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST), databases (Oracle, MySQL), operating systems (Linux, Windows), and AWS cloud services.

Hands-on experience in programming, database design, implementation, administration, and operations of large-scale enterprise IT systems, including mobile applications, web portals, and AWS-hosted solutions.

Manage and support CI/CD operations, including build, deployment, and release pipelines to ensure seamless and automated delivery of applications.

Implement and enforce IT security policies across all operational services, including AWS environments; proactively monitor systems for compliance and coordinate with vendors for timely resolution of vulnerabilities and bugs.

Demonstrate the ability to multitask and respond effectively during critical incidents and high-pressure situations.

Monitor system performance and availability and automate routine operational and deployment tasks using CI/CD tools.

Conduct daily health checks of all nodes (on-prem and AWS) and efficiently handle trouble tickets.

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and network teams to manage activities that may impact system performance or cause outages.

Troubleshoot and debug code-level issues and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and reliability.

Maintain basic knowledge of networking, including cloud networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, and routing.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors for integration and deployment of new nodes/services into live environments, including AWS-based deployments.

Execute assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-up and completion of activities.

Coordinate and follow up on post-cutover issues with vendor support teams to ensure timely resolution.Â

Bring relevant experience in software development, web services, databases (MySQL/Oracle), AWS cloud operations, and CI/CD practices

At least 4 years of relevant experience.
